About Sean

My name is Sean and I am a painter, designer, and muralist from Montgomery, AL, and I have a passion for creating colorful and captivating characters that draw from various sources of inspiration.

Some of the influences that shape my art are movies, cartoons, anime, pop culture, street art, graffiti, folklore, and different world cultures. I also get inspired by my children’s wild imaginations, and the amazing artists that I have met along my journey. I like to think that I am creating my own worlds through my art and mixing them with the different universes that have fascinated me over the years.

I started painting in 2015 using spray paint and stencils to create paintings of foreign planets, space landscapes, and abstract pieces. I enjoyed experimenting with different colors and textures, but I also felt a need to expand my horizons and challenge myself more. That’s when I decided to transition to acrylic paints and teach myself traditional painting styles. I learned how to use brushes, palette knives, and other tools to create more realistic and detailed artworks.

I specialize in various art styles and subject matter that include bright, colorful, imaginative character work. I love to paint animals, people, monsters, robots, aliens, and anything else that sparks my creativity. I also like to incorporate elements of humor, emotion, symbolism, and storytelling into my art. My goal is to make people smile, laugh, think, and feel something when they look at my paintings.

I have shown my work in various cities across the US, such as Atlanta, Memphis, Tampa, and more. I have participated in gallery shows, art festivals, mural projects, and other events where I have met wonderful people who appreciate and support my art. I also design artwork for businesses who want to add some color and personality to their spaces. I attend comic conventions where I sell prints, stickers, shirts, and other merchandise featuring my original characters. I also work in my studio in Montgomery where I create new artworks every day.

My artwork is a reflection of who I am as an artist and a person. It is a way for me to express myself and share my vision with the world. It is a dream that I am living every day. Thank you for being a part of it.
